Description
Ammonium Sulfate Introduction
Ammonium Sulfate is a kind of colorless crystalline powder with a chemical formula of (NH4)2SO4. It is easily soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol, acetone, and ammonia. It is limited to be used as nutrients for fermentation in the fermentation process. It is also used as a dough conditioner and yeast food. It’s used as a nitrogen source for yeast culture in fresh yeast production, and the amount is not specified. As a yeast nutrient in bread, the amount is about 10%.
Ammonium sulfate ((NH4)2SO4) is an inorganic sulfate salt obtained by the reaction of sulfuric acid with two equivalents of ammonia.
