Description
Erlotinib HCl Introduction
Erlotinib HCl is a small molecule reversible inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase, which is mainly used for the second-line or third-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer.
Erlotinib targets the epidermal growth factor receptor subtype (EGFR-TK) that reversibly and selectively acts on the tyrosine kinase receptor, and its mechanism of action is to compete with substrates in cells and inhibit the phosphorylation of EGFR-TK , block the signal transduction of tumor cells, inhibit the growth of tumor cells, and induce their apoptosis. Clinical studies have shown that the drug has inhibitory effects on a variety of tumors. Compared with traditional chemotherapy drugs, it has the advantages of fewer adverse reactions, and better safety and tolerance.
