Azilsartan Introduction
Azilsartan is the first new type of oxazolidinone antibacterial drug used in clinic. By binding to the 30S subunit at the interface near the bacterial 50S subunit, it inhibits the linking of mRNA ribosomes and prevents the formation of the 70S initial complex, thereby inhibiting the bacterial Protein formation, play a bactericidal effect. This product is sensitive to Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (including Enterococcus).
Due to the special structure of this product, it has no cross-resistance with other antibacterial drugs. In particular, it has good antibacterial effect on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE), etc., and is the only drug for the treatment of vancomycin-resistant enterococcus infection.
