Iopamidol Introduction
Iopamidol is a non-ionic water-soluble contrast agent, which is a drug for imaging diagnosis. Its chemical structural formula is an amide compound of triiodoisophthalic acid derivatives. It has low toxicity to blood vessel walls and nerves and has good local and systemic tolerance. It features low pressure, low viscosity, good contrast, stable injection, very little deiodine in vivo, suitable for myelography and patients with high-risk factors of contrast agent reaction.

Iopamidol Applications
Iopamidol injection is a commonly used iodine-containing contrast agent in the radiology department, mainly used for neurointervention, coronary angiography, CT enhancement, and angiography. Iopamidol is a non-ionic hypotonic contrast agent. Its main advantages are low toxicity, less allergic reaction, little effect on liver and kidney function, and it is not easy to cause contrast agent nephropathy.
