Roselle Extract – Anthocyanins Introduction

Roselle Extract has been used to ease indigestion, relieve colds and respiratory trouble, and as an aid to circulation. Rose petals or flower buds are sometimes used to flavor ordinary tea or combined with other herbs to make tisanes. In France, there is much use of rose syrup, most commonly made from an extract of rose petals. In the United States, this French rose syrup is used to make rose scones and marshmallows. Rose flowers are used as food, also usually as a flavoring or to add their scent to food. Other minor uses include candied rose petals.

Roselle is a medicinal plant commonly produced as a beverage and herbal medicine. It has multiple activities, one of which is antibacterial activity.

Roselle Extract – Anthocyanins Functions

  1. Roselle extract can promote blood cell destruction;
  2. Roselle extract can promote gastric cancer cells dying;
  3. Roselle extract can regulate blood pressure and improve sleep;
