Insomnia is a vicious condition that plagues people during the night and persists as a tiresome after-effect the next day. Griffonia Simplicifolia is a plant that has been used to treat insomnia for many years and has been very effective. This herb is potent when it comes to sleep because it contains 5-HTP, a precursor chemical for the neurotransmitter serotonin.

5-HTP has a very deep effect on the natural sleep cycles we all experience on a nightly basis. Taking a 5-HTP supplement such as those made from Griffonia Simplicifolia can be very beneficial towards slipping into a nice deep REM sleep much faster.

Most issues arise when users are taking huge amounts of pure, concentrated 5-HTP, which is the active ingredient in Griffonia Simplicifolia. That’s akin to drinking pure caffeine rather than a light coffee in terms of dosage.
